Hi, my name is Wei, and I am 20 years old. I come from China. I am from Fujian province, which is a province on the southeast coast of mainland China. Its area is 121, 400 km2 and its population (2010) is 36,894,216. Fujian is renowned for its china, Chinese tea, daffodil and many tourist attractions. Now I am studying Agricultural Economics at the NSAC (Nova Scotia Agricultural College)

Life here is quite different, different culture, cold weather, less people etc. Sometimes I may get culture shock or language problems, though Canadians are very friendly, and I enjoy life in Canada. The most impressive thing in Truro is that I visited a Canadian family, we had dinner together and played some games I hadn’t played before.

Wei will be leading the discussion following the film on China, Sunday, January 22nd at 7pm.
